Awareness Through Movement

The practice of yoga helps to regulate all aspects of self and can improve mental and physical health with surprising ease. Simple and accessible yoga postures, breathing exercises and experiential awareness are tailored to fit the needs of the individual and group.

Increased awareness of ones movement, posture and breath integrates mind and body to experience increased wholeness of self, which can alleviate stress, anxiety, tension and fatigue. The resulting state is an invigorated sense of lightness and a stable and positive perspective towards yourself and others.

Gentle Yoga Flow

Focus on fluid motion

Gentle enough for all levels with many variations offered for each posture. In this approach, we hold the poses a little longer than in many other yoga flow classes.

This rhythm gives you just enough time to bring your awareness into the experience of your inner stability and spaciousness, but not so slow that your mind will wander off very far. The participant is naturally led into a state of simultaneous relaxation and alertness.

Chair Yoga

A little goes a long way

For seniors and others looking for an effective series of exercises to reduce pain and stiffness while re-energizing and invigorating yourself. The poses are done both seated and standing with the use of a chair for support.

Many participants in this class commonly comment on how surprising it is to gain enormous benefits from these simple and accessible movements.

Yoga is known to help minimize high blood pressure, strengthen bones, improve balance, reduce stress and enhance mood.
